Summary
Forward your booking confirmations and let Hoiii parse them. Flights, trains, buses, ferries, cruises, hotels, rentals, and activity tickets are added automatically.


What you can forward
• Transportation: flight, train, bus, ferry, rental car, cruise
• Accommodation: hotels, hostels, vacation rentals
• Activities: museums, tours, events, attraction passes


What we extract automatically
• Dates/times, carriers, terminals/gates (if provided)
• Passenger names and booking refs/PNR
• Hotel name, address, check-in/out, room type
• Event / museum name, visitation time
• Costs and currency—added to Trip Expenses when present


How to use it

  • 👉In the trip's overview screen tab on Document, Hotel or Flight icon and add booking, choose "Forward Email Booking" option, a dynamic email will be created for you to tap to copy.
  • 👉Forward each confirmation email (one booking per email is best) to this specific email address (Note that your email is not being stored in our cloud or anywhere at all, the forward action just triggers our AI to extract data of the email for you to add to the trip).
  • 💡 If the booking data is in PDF format, make sure to include the PDF file as attachment in the email. For iOS devices, sometimes the forwarding button doesn't include the PDF file as attachment, you need to use the "Share" button to send the email to your trip-specific email address, or directly forward the PDF file as an email to ensure our AI receives the data to process.
  • 👉Once the booking is imported to the trip, check the auto-created data to ensure they are accurate and mark as verified. (Remember: AI can make mistake.)

  • 👉Upload PDFs or screenshots of the ticket (PDF or images) to the specific booking if you want to view them later (IMPORTANT: if you wish to be able to view them offline, make sure you open the uploaded file at least once and view it before going offline so they can be cached).


Pro tips
• Forward updates (schedule changes) so your itinerary stays accurate. (If the booking reference stays the same, you will need to delete the dated booking from the trip first, or AI will not add the new forwarded email data as it will be considered duplicated import.)
• A few minutes after forwarding your booking email, you still don't see the data showing in the app, check if the confirmation is in a PDF attachment in the original email - most likely the PDF was never attached to the forward email, therefore, our AI didn't receive the data to help you import.
• For QR-only tickets, upload the PDF or image directly as our AI will not be able to process that type of data.
• Rename uploaded documents/files with a hint (e.g., “Travel Insurance Doc”) for quick recognition.
